National Day is coming up, and for many people, it’s a chance to reflect on their mental health. Mental health is a vitally important topic, and it’s something that we should all be grateful for. Despite this, however, mental health remains a taboo topic in many circles. This needs to change. We need to start talking openly about our mental health, and we need to start appreciating it more.
Only then will we be able to make real progress when it comes to mental health awareness and treatment. So let’s take this National Day as an opportunity to get started on this journey. Let’s work together to create a society where mental health is no longer seen as a dirty secret but instead as the norm.
